Celebration of Praise
Gospel Festival

Solid Rock Productions, in partnership with the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, will stage the Celebration of Praise Gospel Festival on Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 12:00 PM-9:00 PM in Auditorium Park Square, Ocean Grove, New Jersey. This free, multicultural, family friendly festival, complete with vendors selling unique products, a children's pavilion with clowns, face painting, balloons, and a moonwalk, and assorted food vendors will celebrate expressions of gospel music and the arts from different cultures around the world and is the first of its kind to be staged in Monmouth County!

Artists from across the globe are joining the line-up - Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, the UK, and America - and the list is growing daily. In addition to music a special theatrical production is being prepared just for Celebration of Praise!

About Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association:

The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association is a ministry organization whose mission is to provide opportunities for spirtual birth, growth, and renewal in a Christian seaside setting. Centrally located on the Jersey Shore, Ocean Grove is within two hours of both New York City and Philadelphia. Founded in 1869, the Camp Meeting continues to put on a vibrant program of preaching, teaching and celebration throughout the summer months. More recently, the Camp Meeting has also been providing more year-round activities.

The Year was 1869, and a group of spiritual lay leaders assembled as The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association to form and incorporate the town of Ocean Grove. Now New Jersey's finest year-round family seashore resort, this one square mile of natural beauty has welcomed and delighted vacationers, including U.S. presidents, for over a century. On Ocean Grove's tree-lined streets is the largest assemblage of authentic Victorian architecture in the nation. In 1976, the town had the honor of being entered in the National Register of Historic Places and in 1977, the New Jersey State Register of Historic Places.
